Spring in North Idaho

These flowers remind us of Grandpa Preston Stedman. He never lived here in Idaho. After he died, we received some mail with his name on it. One of the envelopes said FREE $25 in flower bulbs. So I opened it and sent in the coupon and received all these lovely bulbs in Grandpas name. So every Spring when we see the flowers, we think of Grandpa Preston in heaven.

The garden spot on the side of the house.

We are extending the garden to add a spot for strawberries. Gotta go get some soil for it.....

I love that you have planted flowers in your loved ones name!
They look beautiful, too! Neat story.

We have a tulip that was given to Matthew when he was just two, from a lady at our church. We moved some bulbs from our old home where we lived when she gave it to him; and just one tulip still comes up every year. We call it our Emma Sommers tulip, because that was her name. I guard it like a hawk.
:-) Your photos are beautiful!
