Kombucha and Kefir

Here is my Kombucha and Kefir. Healthy goodies for my family and for a fraction of the cost at health food stores.

ooops thats 2 gallons of water

3 green tea and 3 black tea bags

One of my Kombucha resources, I found it at a used book store in Oregon.

Kefir is my new experiment. I received some "grains" or starter for it from a friend in Montana. I made a smoothie with some of the Kefir this morning, added a banana and 1/2 cup of blueberries. YUM!!!

I got this from a Kefir website:
Here are some of the known kefir health benefits:

1.Strongest natural remedy against any allergy

3.Treats liver disease

4.Treats gallbladder, dissolves gall bladder stones

5.Clears the body of salts, heavy metals, radionuclides, and alcoholic products

6.Cleans the body of chemical antibiotics

Strength

In my daily Bible reading, I keep coming across all these verses on Strength....

Psalm 27:1 the Lord is the strength of my life

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord.

Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart trusteth in thee, and I am helped.

Psalm 28:8 The Lord is their strength and he is the saving strength of his annointed.

Psalm 128:1 Blessed is everyone that feareth the Lord: that walketh in his ways.

Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.

2 Chronicles 32:8 but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.

Proverbs 31:17 She girdeth her loins with strength and strengtheneth her arms.

Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honour are her clothing: she shall rejoice in time to come.

Isaiah 26:3,4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.
